The following describes the basic flow of information for a File from Resware to Notaroo and back.

Initial Signing Request Flow

An associate will add Notaroo as a Partner to the File. Upon completion of the File creation,

  1. Click Add Partner
  2. Select Partner Type: Notary
  3. Select Restriction Type: None
  4. Click Search
  5. Select Notaroo
  6. Click Add to File

An associate will create a Signing

  1. Select the Signings tab
  2. Click Add
  3. Fill out the information for the signing
    • Notaroo requires the minimum
      • Date & Time of Signing
      • Type
      • Location
    • Click the Save icon

If this is the first Signing for the File and you do not see the XML tab

  1. Click the Homepage icon
  2. Reopen the File

Sending the File to Notaroo

The following actions are found under the XML tab of the File

Send the Order Data First

Under the XML Message box use the command ResWare: Send Order - Notaroo and click Send Upon successful receipt, a message will appear on the screen with Notaroo’s order identifer.

Send the Signing Data Next

Under the XML Message box use the command ResWare: Send Signing - Notaroo and click Send Upon successful receipt, a message will appear on the screen with a Signing successful status

Signing Updates

If a client decides to CANCEL a Signing Request or needs to UPDATE information, the necessary edits should be made in Resware and then the XML Message ResWare: Send Signing - Notaroo should be used to communicate the changes.

Notes and Documents

Being Secure! Notes are the preferred mechanism oulined by Resware to communicate with their Notary partners. By leveraging the Notaroo integration, you have one central Notary authority to transmit information securely with. We will then distribute these documents securely to your selected Notary through our portal interface.

When creating a note, ensure that Notaroo is selected as Partner recipient of the message.

Notaroo Push Notifications

Notaroo will push updates into Resware through the use of Notes. This is Resware’s preferred method of communication between Notary partners and the Resware application.

Types of Notifications

The following list indicates what kind of notifications you can expect from us as your Notary solution.

  • Confirmation of Notary Assignment
    • Notary Contact information provided
  • Confirmation of Contact between the Notary and the Borrower
  • Unsigned Documents Download by the Notary
  • Signed Documents Uploaded by the Notary
    • Documents will be securely transmitted to Resware and attached to the Note on the File
  • Signing Did not Occur
    • With an update to the Signing within Resware
  • Signing Did Occur
    • With an update to the Signing with Resware
  • Exceptions to the flow
    • Should an issue arise, we will transmit this information along
    • Examples would be a Signing cannot be confirmed, documents are missing for the signing, etc..
